America Going Broke Pt 4: Another Recession on the Way

Here We Go Again:

2018 was a whirlwind of a year for our nation as Donald Trump continues to be in the Oval office ruining America. Removing our country from relevant trade agreements such as the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) or not involved in any trade agreements has economically hindered America. It is part of the reason for the next recession. Reports of another possible depression begin after the dismal tax bill by the GOP, which did not benefit the American people or our economy. Not only that, after the election of Trump the Chump and the GOP economic policies, stated the deficit would increase to $1 trillion and here we are almost at the $1 trillion deficit mark. Sidebar: with a $1 trillion debt, we know the GOP is not fiscally conservative. Additionally, with a $1 trillion deficit along with stagnant wages, cost of increased living, and bad economic policies from local to national level, any future recessions will be above the trillion-dollar mark which our economy cannot handle.

“Sidebar: with a $1 trillion deficit, we know the GOP is not fiscally conservative.”

The oncoming recession can be said to be caused by terrible economic policies not benefiting the American people, but caused by people who feel the need to hoard money.

Another Recession on the Way:

As of February 2019, America’s deficit tops $22 trillion dollars-fast forward to November 2019; the debt is now $984 billion hitting close to the $1 trillion marks. Thanks, Grand Old Pricks! With 40 years of low-wages, moving to a gig economy with service jobs that do nothing to help provide the financial necessities for the basic needs of life, those who are struggling will be harmed the most. Since the 2008 recession, it seems that our nation has not learned, and with future recessions topping a trillion dollars, our country will not be able to handle that amount of debt. Furthermore, the GOP’s favorite line of not wanting to pass the debt to future generations is hogwash when Millennials are the ages having that debt passed down to them.

Another recession on the way with the current leadership and their terrible economic policies illustrates America and the old ways of measuring our economy no longer works. Sidebar: 🗣 Low-wage jobs are not jobs when citizens cannot afford the basic necessities of life. Additionally, the past 40 years America economy and the kinds of jobs have changed, and our government has failed to create new measurements and keep up with those changes. Not only will the terrible economic policies be highlighted in the oncoming recession, but the old-fashioned ways of measuring our economy with low-wage jobs also are not accurate.

“Sidebar: 🗣 Low-wage jobs are not jobs when citizens cannot afford the basic necessities of life.”

Currently, the economic policies are the cause of the oncoming recession. However, for 40 years, with the same Representatives and Senators in Congress, they have failed to keep up with the generational changes and changes in the economy using an archaic way to measure the economy, which is not fit for 2019 nor the future. Additionally, at the state level and county level who have control over the types of jobs to bring, many states such as Georgia continuously bring in low-wage employment and count them as jobs. Still, people cannot afford the basic necessities of life with low-wage jobs.

“Electing the right candidates who understand our nation can no longer fall behind, who understand keeping up with the generational changes is necessary for a better future and not waiting too late to create policy reflecting the changes we need are the representatives we need at every level of our government.”

What Now?

Here we are heading into another recession, with low-wage jobs, the cost of living has increased, people living out of there cars and America continuing to fight the same old issues.  Electing the right candidates who understand our nation can no longer fall behind, who understand keeping up with the generational changes is necessary for a better future and not waiting too late to create policy reflecting the changes we need are the representatives we need at every level of our government.
