Since President Dilma Rousseff re-election, she has repeatedly denied the accusations and continues to do so throughout the impeachment process. Millions of citizens’ supporters and non-supporters of President Rousseff traveled to the capitol, watched and listen on their television to hear the decision of the lower house, supporters were highly upset about the decision and believe that this impeachment is breaking down their democracy and their votes are being negated. The non-supporters’ citizens and deputies chanted the national anthem and believe that the Senate will vote in favor of impeaching President Rousseff.
Supporters says this minor and common infraction is being used as a pretext for a “coup” to seize power by a political class that is notorious for far more serious crimes.
What is interesting is that Vice President Michel Temer and half of the parliament in the Workers Party are all be investigated for worse crimes and corruption, the same people who are forcing the impeachment of President Rousseff. It seems as though, that her rivals are really trying to implicate President Rousseff on corruption in order to force her out of the Presidency, “supporters says this minor and common infraction is being used as a pretext for a “coup” to seize power by a political class that is notorious for far more serious crimes”. The question is are President Rousseff rivals attempting a coup?
