China’s President Xi Jinping is visiting Pakistan to discuss a trade route deal costing $46bn; the goal of this trade deal is to connect both countries together.
This trade is great economic opportunity for Pakistan, and according to the BBC article, $46bn is the most FDI (foreign direct investment) that has entered the country in 6 years.
However the issue of stability and violence is what concerns both sides, mostly China because this investment is a sign of how China is attempting to establish themselves in the middle east. What does this trade route deal mean for China? What benefit(s) will Pakistan get out of this deal? And, does this trade route deal affect or will it impact the U.S.-China relationship?
