EUROPEAN COUNTRIES BETTER THEN U.S. IN HEALTHCARE AND WORK-FAMILY POLICIES

Recently, there have been studies comparing the U.S. to European countries that have better a healthcare system and work-family policies.

For a long time now, we all know that European countries are better than the U.S. when it comes to healthcare and work-family policies.

The reasons that these studies are being conducted now is the question that needs to be answered; my thought is that we are in an election season, and it is an all out battle for both democrats and Republicans. Two weeks ago Eric Cantor the number 2 guy for the GOP was voted out of office, and in my state of Georgia both Governor and U.S. senate seats are being heavily fought over. No matter the reasons that these studies are being conducted during this election season, hopefully a candidate will discuss them and come up with a plan to have the U.S. become better in its healthcare system and work-family policies. Here are links for two articles, one discussing the U.S. ranking last among other developed nations for healthcare and the other on work-family policies where the U.S. has the worst.
