KAVANOPE PART 2: TIME TO END THE GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB

Repeating History:

The events taken place in our politics is something our founders could have not imagined. Although, they were part of the good ole boys club, our founders were men who were honorable and, in some cases, did what was right. Today’s pale men of the good ole boys club support men who have sexually assaulted women are not honorable and have shown they will not do what is right. Recap: in December of 2017, I wrote a blog about how it’s time to get rid of the good ole boys club due to Roy Moore and the sexually allegations surrounded him.

It’s upsetting that we are dealing with the same situation with Brett Kavanaugh, however, it’s more upsetting the GOP did not learn from the sexually allegations of Roy Moore in 2017.

“Recap: in December of 2017, I wrote a blog about how it’s time to get rid of the good ole boys club because of Roy Moore and the allegations surrounded him.”

Supporting men like Roy Moore and Brett Kavanaugh illustrates what our society and government have dealt with for a long-time-white male privilege. More importantly, we are witnessing and repeating history because America is not learning. The constant not learning from history and the man-made system of the good ole boys club our nation will continue to repeat the same cycle with the same men comfortable in their positions.

Same Old Same Old:

Senator Orrin Hatch and Chuck Grassley are the same men who were on the judiciary committee when Anita Hill spoke out on her sexual assault, sidebar: a reason voting matters because no public servant should be in office for 30 to 40 years #VOTE. It’s disheartening the same men who questioned Anita Hill in 1992 are the same men still on the judiciary committee who questioned Dr. Ford and Brett Kavanaugh. A key issue with white male privilege is the low voter turnout in midterm elections-the most important elections which allows elected officials to stay in office for far too long.

Since the hearing of Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas, both Senator Orrin Hatch and Chuck Grassley should have been voted out office after their line of questioning towards Mrs. Hill was degrading, but they proved their non-existence of feelings for women.

“A key issue with white male privilege is the low voter turnout in midterm elections-the most important elections which allows elected officials to stay in office for far too long.”

America is going through a cycle of repeating the same old same old because we are not learning from history and we are not getting rid of the elected officals who are stay in office for 30-40 years. Openly supporting men who has sexually assaulted women, but young boys and young girls is a complete disgrace and is a reason the good ole boys club must come to an end.

More importantly, it’s time to get rid of the same old same old due to an institution created by the good ole boys club is not fit for our nation and the future of this nation.

#Vote:

For Lindsey Graham, Newt Gingrich and many of the other GOPPERS support a man of sexual assault illustrates their disrespect toward women and the title of being a public servant. Furthermore, the institution of the good ole boys club will come to an end because it does not show America and its values. Mentioned earlier, elected officials should not sit in office for 30-40 years which is how long Senators Orrin Hatch and Chuck Grassley have held office.

The same men stay on the judiciary committee 26 years later after questioning Anita Hill and did not take her claims seriously which our nation and we the people will not allow to take place in 2018.
