KENTUCKY RULES SAME-SEX MARRIAGE UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND U.S. CITIZENS RENOUNCING THEIR CITIZENSHIP
Latest news out of Kentucky ruling that banning same-sex marriage is unconstitutional. Kentucky is joining a list of other states that have ruled the ban on same-sex marriage as unconstitutional, which will be an issue for Representatives seeking re-elections this November. In other news, there has been an increase in U.S. citizens renouncing their citizenship, there are some speculations that it has to deal with taxes, which wealthy people do not want to pay,( if you are a U.S. citizen living abroad you still have to pay taxes). The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act implemented in 2010 will require financial institutions to report on accounts held by U.S. citizens living abroad. This is going overboard, the U.S. forcing citizens to pay taxes abroad should be banned, just because some of these citizens are wealthy living overseas, it does not and should not give this country the right to implement a law looking into citizens personal bank accounts abroad. The sad news is that, there was no mention of it on U.S. news and no valid reason why they are doing this. Of course the Government will use some excuse and make false claims on “why they have to tax” U.S. citizens abroad, but none of it will be true.
