The National Racists Association (NRA) is the worlds most dangerous group responsible for the mass shootings and thousand of deaths in America. It is this organization and their illogical mindset that has plagued our nation for centuries and continue to do so. Sidebar: when slavery ended both the KKK and NRA was a founded-no coincidence. The purpose of these organizations was nothing more than to harass and terrorize black citizens which they did and even killed them. However, with the constant mass shootings and innocent lives lost, what is the purpose of the NRA in these current times? Politically speaking their purpose is to continue to promote untruthfulness by misrepresenting the 2nd amendment. But for our society, this organization serves no purpose.

Recap: It was not until the 1970s’ the NRA began falsely using the 2nd amendment to promote the right to bear arms section. As with any organization with people who have different views, it was the most extreme view that took over the NRA and is the reason for the massive senseless act of gun violence we have in our country. For thirty years, this despicable organization is responsible for preventing sensible gun laws in our country because they force and promote their paranoid ideology into our government. Furthermore, it is disgusting our elected officials are not capable of doing what is right for the people in quelling this man-made epidemic because of the financial influence of the NRA.

According to Vox, “America has one mass shooting a day.” One mass shooting a day means thousands of lives are lost 365 days a year, it also means the GOP does not care about we the people or our safety. To have one mass shooting a day demonstrates just how out of touch the GOP is with society in not comprehending how bad the mass shootings have become in our nation. To be called the greatest country in the world yet our government, specifically, the GOP blatantly refuses to end mass shootings is upsetting. We cannot be the greatest country in the world when thousands of people die a day from a preventable issue, and we cannot be the greatest country in when our elected officials allow the NRA to continue to promote their dangerous ideology that is killing our society.

At this point for our civilization and for our country, the NRA has to end. What the organization once stood for no longer exists and has not for a long time, and what they stand for now has no place in our society. It is because of this organization that America outranks other industrialized nations in deaths as a result of guns and our nation continues to lose its place in the world. An organization like the NRA should have no influence on our government and no place in our nation promoting their paranoid agenda.
