Donald Trump-An Epic Fail on America’s Immigration
Immigration History in America: The Good and Bad
The Trail of Tears, Slavery, the War on Drugs, and World War 2 when camps were setup for Japanese Americans, illustrate the damaging history of America tearing families apart, and the current immigration crisis adds to this dark history. Donald Trump immigration crisis he created is an indelible event which will be written in history books and has tarnished the world view of the once great nation. Families being torn apart, wasting American’s tax dollars on building detention centers is not what the American people want, and does not solve the immigration issue of America.
More importantly, history tells us when the Irish, Polish and many citizens immigrated from Europe, they came to create a better life for their families because of the opportunities America provides. America’s immigration history is about starting over for the better and contributing to making this nation great. Sidebar: as history constantly illustrates, white people immigrated, crossing borders all over the world to different countries, stealing people, stealing natural resources, and stealing countries.
What we are witnessing is the despicable attempt to change the immigration issue in a cruel way by separating families and keeping young kids in detention centers wasting tax dollars. The current immigration crisis created by Trump is repeating the dark history of America’s immigration discriminating against groups of people.
“The Trail of Tears, Slavery, War on Drugs, World War 2 when camps were setup for Japanese Americans, America has a terrible history of separating families, and the most recent immigration issue, with kids in cages is part of America’s terrible history with immigration.”
GOP Fail on Immigration:
June 19th, 2018 is a day in our nation’s history which will highlight the actions of the Trump administration on immigration policy. The “Zero-Tolerance” policy Trump is attempting to carry out will due far more damage not only to the families he is separating, but to our nation in how we are handling the chaos. Separating families is not only the dumbest thing that Trump has done causing our nation to be an embarrassment. However, having young kids who cannot defend themselves in front of judges and placing them in detention centers using hardworking American’s tax dollars is not only dumb but reprehensible. What’s more, taking kids from their parents and sending them to New York and Michigan is kidnapping, human trafficking and mass discrimination on a national level.
Basic common sense which Trump and his entire administration does not have, should understand why tearing families apart is extremely dangerous and the psychological impact it will have on the children. Side bar: every racist who voted for Trump should have their kids taken away from them and put in detention centers. Sidebar: it’s not illegal for families to cross borders and seek a better life for their families, hint white immigrants who stole this land from the Native American’s crossed borders to make a better life and we see how that turned out. Families being detained for doing what is necessary for a better life is inexcusable.
“Separating families is not only the dumbest thing that Trump has done causing our nation to be an embarrassment. However, having young kids who cannot defend themselves in front of judges and placing them in detention centers using hardworking American’s tax dollars is not only dumb but reprehensible.”
Recap: during slavery, white immigrants who crossed borders to steal millions of people used the bible to warrant their wicked actions. Here we are in 2018, and Jeff Sessions does the same, believing that separating families and housing young children in detention centers is the right thing to do.
The horrors of separating 2,000 kids from their parents with no plan to reunite these families has become more terrifying for these kids. On Wednesday, Trump signed an executive order having families stay detained when caught at the border, but there is nothing in the executive order to reunite families. Side bar: once again history illustrates during Slavery, the Trail of Tears when families were forcibly separated, it took years for families to be reunited and in some cases families were not reunited. It’s increasingly clear Trump has no knowledge of what it means to govern a nation.
“Sidebar: it’s increasingly clear Trump has no knowledge of what it means to govern a nation.”
Throughout Tuesday and Wednesday, Trump and the entire administration were receiving massive blowback on Twitter and Facebook. Nearly every social media outlet and news outlet, people were tweeting, calling their Representatives and Senators to stop Trump and this chaotic policy of taking kids from their parents. Thousands of people risk their lives to enter a nation that offers a second chance to give for their families. America is a nation of immigrants, some traveled here willingly, some brought here unwillingly, but the goal of we immigrants is to make it-and we always do.
