PRESIDENT OBAMA TAKES CUBA OF TERRORISM LIST

Not only is it historic that President Obama and President Castro meet during the Summit of America’s in Panama; it is even more historic that after a 55 year embargo on the country President Obama has decided to take Cuba off the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism which is a big step in normalizing relations with the country. Moreover, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee unanimously voted to remove Cuba from the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism, besides this being a historic moment in foreign policy politics, this move by the White House illustrates that DIPLOMACY works, having a meeting with foreign leaders to discuss differences and work out a deal that benefits both sides works not war. As of now there are 4 candidates running in 2016 for the Presidential elections, 3 GOP candidates and 1 democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, is it safe to state that the 2016 elections will focus more on Foreign Policy than Domestic issues??
