Henry Wallace-America's greatest VP
America's greatest and progressive VP who was screwed over by the centrists neoliberal establishment.

Progressive Is the Way to Go!

Same Old Same Old:

For 50 years our nation has been in the twilight zone with neoliberals’ centrists Democrats using the same rhetoric, a reason why our nation is continuing to fight the same issues. Since the 70’s, the societal issues which have been ignored have ballooned into bigger issues the millennials-generation will have to clean up. Every issue from child-care, a livable wage, better jobs, and climate change are many of the issues America has been fighting for 50 years, here we are in the middle of a high-stake elections and centrists neoliberals Democrats have not learned the lessons of the past. A reason why being progressive is the way to go is the issues we are fighting affects everyone from all walks of life and from history with FDR presidency, we can learn that progressive policies are what the people want, and they do work. Sidebar: if it was not for FDR progressive policies to economically get the nation back on track, the depression would have lasted much longer.

Millennials the generation everyone loves to hate is the generation who will have to clean up the mess from previous generations and restore our image around the world to be trusted again.

To the Left We Go:

Often times we hear going too far left is radical and dangerous, especially from centrists neoliberal Democrats. However, our nation has been too far right with Regan and now Trump and has remained in the center with some terrible policy decisions fighting the same issues of our ancestors. For nearly 30 years, our government has the same faces making the same decisions with no progress and the people suffering. 2020 is the year we are witnessing how terrible it is to be too far right and in the center. Sidebar: America has been too far right and centrists for too long with no domestic accomplishments for the citizens. Every other industrial nation has universal healthcare, other nations have lower rates of gun violence, and other nations have a better understanding of moral rights which America continues to fight.

“Sidebar: America has been too far right and centrists for too long with no accomplishments for the citizens.”

FDR is the greatest president our nation has had. The former president policies are what helped America recuperate from the Great Depression ushering progressive policies that helped usher Americans out of poverty, created programs with jobs and education to better the American society for the future. When the status quo skeptics consistently comment that “we cannot go too far to the left”, they neglect the history of FDR and his progressive policies were far left yet brought our nation and the people out of financial ruin.

Remaining in the centrists’ neoliberal position or going back to the right of Ronald Reagan is not ideal for our nation and the current millennial generation refuses to do so.

2020’s The Progressive Decade:

In the past 50 years, our nation has fallen behind on the basic necessities of life, a livable wage, climate change, transportation, workforce housing, homelessness. Our nation and the people no longer can afford to be 50 years behind and fighting the same old issues. Not having universal health care is unacceptable in the richest country, who constantly takes from the people and never give. The public goods of our nation are paid for by hardworking taxpayers, yet the swamped filled government has allowed the greedy at the top take taxpayers funded public goods leaving the American people with nothing.

“The public goods of our nation are paid for by hardworking taxpayers, yet the swamped filled government has allowed the greedy at the top take taxpayers funded public goods leaving the American people with nothing.”

From the older generation to the millennial generation, both age groups are tired of an archaic money-hungry system and not getting anything in return. Being in the center with neoliberal policies does not work nor does being to the far right which we are currently in. Progressive is the way to go, always have been and will continue to be.
