So, yesterday on Meet The Press, both Secretary of State John Kerry and Representative Marc Rubio were on, and what each guy had to say about Russia entering Ukraine was interesting. First, John Kerry said “You don’t invade a country on a phony pretext in order to insert your interests”. Did John Kerry forget about the two senseless wars that were fought on phony pretext for past 11 years.
What makes this comment even more interesting is that none of the U.S. news stations replied to what he said, but RT (Russian Times) and many other international news sources did.
In addition, Marc Rubio said “the Russian government is a government of liars”. I’m guessing Marc Rubio is forgetting that he too works for a government of liars, cheaters and thieves. It is disgusting that two U.S. officials would go on national television and make comments like this about another country when the U.S. notorious for being liars and entering a country on a phony pretext. Furthermore, David Gregory could have questioned both Kerry and Rubio more on their comments, but he didn’t which illustrates how misleading and inaccurate the U.S. news can be.
