WHY WOULD NORTH KOREA TEST A HYDROGEN BOMB?
Not starting 2016 on a good note is North Korea, testing a h-bomb (hydrogen bomb) in defiance to China and South Korea, the isolated countries neighbor. The purpose for testing the h-bomb is to irritate the U.S., to increase their nuclear power and, according to Kim Jong Un North Korea President “the nuclear program is defensive and designed to prevent a US-led invasion”. North Korea has been an isolationist country for 65 years, therefore, testing and having nuclear programs and weapons as a defensive mechanisms against the U.S. sounds like a scapegoat excuse.
“the nuclear program is defensive and designed to prevent a US-led invasion”.
North Korea testing this bomb is another illustration of Kim Jong Un continuing to provoke a war, his constant provoking towards South Korea an ally with the U.S. and upsetting their main ally China is something North Korea should not do. If China stops being North Korea ally, the isolationist country does not stand a chance at surviving for another 65 years. However, will North Korea ever break out of their isolationist mentality? It is past time that North Korea stop being an isolated country.
